Workshops: Ortino, Sikkink, Wheatley

Federico Ortino (King’s College London) will give a talk today at the UCL Faculty of Laws and International Law Association (British Branch) International Law Seminar on "Legal Reasoning in International Investment Awards: Transparency and Legitimacy Concerns."

Kathryn Sikkink (Univ. of Minnesota - Political Science) will give a talk today at the New York University School of Law Hauser Globalization Colloquium on Interdisciplinary Approaches to International Law on "Explaining the Deterrence Effect of Human Rights Prosecutions for Transitional Countries." Philip Alston (New York Univ. - Law) and Ryan Goodman (New York Univ. - Law) will be the discussants.

Steven M. Wheatley (Univ. of Leeds - Law) will give a talk today at the University of Nottingham School of Law-International Law Association (British Branch) Regional Seminar on "Why International Lawyers are a Threat to Democracy, and How Constitutional Lawyers Ought to Respond."
