Today, the ICTY Trial Chamber rendered its judgment in the case (No. IT-04-84-R77.5) against Baton Haxhiu, a Kosovo journalist. Haxhiu was charged (indictment here; case information sheet here) with contempt of the Tribunal for knowingly revealing the identity of a protected witness.In today's decision (summary here; press release here; judgment not yet available online), the Trial Chamber found Haxhiu guilty. He was fined 7000 euros.
