Update: International Law Commission
The International Law Commission's sixtieth session begins today and will run through August 8th, with a break between June 6th and July 7th. A number of topics are on the Commission's agenda: reservations to treaties; responsibility of international organizations; shared natural resources; effects of armed conflicts on treaties; expulsion of aliens; the obligation to extradite or prosecute (aut dedere aut judicare); protection of persons in the event of disasters; and immunity of state officials from foreign criminal jurisdiction.
