Workshop: The Liberal Way of War: Legal Perspectives

Today, October 26, 2011, the Liberal Way of War Programme at the University of Reading will host a one-day workshop on "The Liberal Way of War: Legal Perspectives" at the University's School of Law. The workshop will focus on: "Islamic Law and Western Legal Systems"; "The Role of the Machinery of International Human Rights Law and the Application of International Human Rights Standards Since September 11, 2001"; and "International Humanitarian Law and Today's 'New Wars.'"
