This morning, the Supreme Court of the United States heard argument in Medellin v. Texas (No. 06-984). (See previously here and here; see also SCOTUSblog's argument preview here.) Donald F. Donovan (Debevoise & Plimpton LLP) argued for the petitioner; Paul Clement (Solicitor General of the United States) argued for the United States as amicus curiae in support of the petitioner; and R. Ted Cruz (Solicitor General of the State of Texas) argued for the respondent. An initial read-out of the argument can be found here. I will post the argument transcript when it is available.
UPDATE: The transcript is now available here.
